Men's Tennis Splits a Pair of Matches Over the Weekend

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men’s tennis team split a pair of matches this weekend. The Crusaders first fell to Navy, 1-6, but bounced back with a 6-1 victory over Thomas College.
Navy:
- Henry Harrs claimed the lone singles victory for the Crusaders with a 1-6, 6-1, 10-5 win at No. 6 singles.
- Matthew Murphy and Alexander Ruenhorst won at No. 2 doubles, 6-4.
Thomas:
- The Crusaders swept the doubles competition without dropping a set. Ruenhorst and Will Chen at No. 1, Matthew Slowinski and Peter Campito at No. 2, and Michael Varda and Harrs at No. 3, all won, 6-0.
- Ruenhorst took No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
- Slwoinski claimed No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
- Campito won, 6-1, 6-0, to take No. 4 singles.
- Mikey Prokopis and Matt Fagan won No. 5 and No. 6 singles respectively with scores of 6-1, 6-0, and 6-0, 6-0.
