Catamounts Claim Series on Senior Day

Dykota Spiess broke a 6-6 tie with a three-run home run to lead the Catamounts to a 9-7 win over No. 24 Appalachian State to claim the series.


Charleston Claims Series Over Western Carolina, 6-2

College of Charleston defeated the Catamounts, 6-2, on Sunday to win the series.

Finished the season with an overall record of 4-4 and a 5.05 ERA, tossing 73.0 innings with 63 strikeouts and 28 walks ... As a starter, had a 5.27 ERA with 58 K's and 26 walks ... Posted a 2.84 ERA in three appearances out of the bullpen, striking out five against two walks in 6.1 innings of work ... Recorded at least one strikeout in every start of his rookie season ... Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team ... Struck out a career-high eight batters in his collegiate debut, scoring the victory over Fordham (February 18) after tossing five and a third in the starting role ...
