Summer of 2005: Claimed the stroke play individual medalist honors at the 83rd New York State Golf Association's (NYSGA) Men's Amateur Championship with a two-round total of 140 ... His individual victory on Wednesday at the 6,806-yard Ontario Golf Course in Ontario, N.Y., qualified him for Thursday's match play, where he fell in the first round ... After firing even par in round one and a four-under in the second, Tyburski finished the 36-hole stroke play portion of the Championship with a two-round, four-under par 140, winning by two strokes ... Birdied four holes in the first round, but equaled that number in bogeys to finish with a 72 ... Rallied in the second round, though, finishing with eight birdies, improving upon two of the holes he had previously bogeyed ... All told, his 12 birdies were the most by any golfer in the tournament. He also led the way by averaging seven-under on all par 5 holes.

2004-05 (Jr.): Played in six of the team's 11 events, finishing third on the team with a season stroke average of 75.62 to rank ninth on the WCU single-season strokes per round list ... In his only event of the spring, playing as an individual, tied for seventh at the ASU-Draper Valley Invitational, carding a two-round total of 146 ... Led the team in the final event of the fall, finishing in a tie for first at the WCU Intercollegiate before falling on the second playoff hole ... He carded a two-round 138, the third-best 36-hole individual score in WCU history.

2003-04 (So.): Competed in five of the team's 10 events ... Posted a stroke average of 78.23, sixth-best on the team ... Recorded a top10 finish at Lipscomb, with rounds of 74-73 (147) ... His 73 at Lipscomb tied a career low ... Placed 38th in the WCU/Sapphire Valley Intercollegiate, shooting 80-75 (155) ... Finished tied for 52nd at the SoCon Championships for his highest finish of the spring season.

2002-03 (RFr.): Joined the team for the Spring 2003 semester ... Played in all five spring events for the Cats, posting a 78.85 strokes per round average ... Shot a season-low 73 in the first round of the Southern Conference Championships ... Best three-round total was a 227 (78-74-75) at the Belmont Invitational ... Tied teammate Blake Wray for the team's low score for the event.
