2016-17 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 seasonal events for a combined 34 rounds … Finished third on the team with a 73.85 scoring average which ranked 15th in the Southern Conference … Led the team in scoring in two tournaments on the season, shooting a career-best round of 66 as a part of winning his first tournament at the Frontier Secure Intercollegiate … Recorded 37 pars, tied for the second-most in the field, in claiming his first career individual victory … His three-round score of 206 (72-68-66) is the fourth-best, individual 54-hole score in program history … All but five of his seasonal rounds were shot in the 70s-or-better with three rounds shot in the 60s.
2015-16 (Freshman): Played in nine of the team's 12 events during the season, making his collegiate debut in the season-opener at the Rees Jones Invitational ... Finished third on the team with a seasonal scoring average of 75.95, ranked 37th in the Southern Conference ... Led the team in scoring twice, both coming in the final two events of the season including a career-best, fifth-place tie at the 2016 SoCon Men's Golf Championship ... Carded his career-low round of 71 three times including at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate, Greenbrier Collegiate and the second round at the SoCon Championship.
Prior to Western Carolina: In the fall of 2014, was ranked 374th among high school golfers by GolfWeek's Brentley Romine's Class of 2015 ... According to available research, he was the third-highest ranked golfer to sign with a Southern Conference school during the early signing period ... Was an all-state performer as a junior at Glynn Academy after shooting a 70 and finished third at the Class AAAAA state tournament in May on Jekyll Island ... Has been a part of the Southeaster Junior Golf Tour (SJGT) since 2010, recording nine, top-10 finishes ... His best showing was a runner-up finish in the Brunswick Junior Classic in July of 2013, posting consecutive rounds of 74 for a two-day total of 148 ... In October of 2014, carded his lowest round on the tour with a first-round 68, finishing third overall at the SJGT UGA AutoTrader.com Invitational - it was his third-straight, top five finish on the tour - and his fifth top 10 in the past six tour events ... Back during the summer of 2014, he finished fifth with a three-round score of 212 (68-71-73) at the Georgia Junior Championship held at the par-72, 6,802-yard Brunswick Country Club, which automatically qualified him for the 39th annual Georgia-South Carolina Junior Challenge Match.
