All six members for the 2012 women's tennis team earn ITA Scholar Athletes

2006-2007: Came out of the year with a 4-14 singles record, and a 4-13 doubles mark...Went 2-2 as a No.2, 2-10 as No.3, and 0-2 in the No.4 spot...Teamed with Mariona Trilla Jane in doubles to post a 3-8 record, Holly Stocks to go 0-1, and went 1-4 playing with Emily Turke...Was awarded the Southern Conference Sportsmanship Award in 2006-07...Was also one of only two Western Carolina tennis players to be named an ITA Scholar Athelete.

Notes: Enters her junior season with a 7-31 overall record in singles, including 3-16 as the No. 2 player, 0-1 at No. 4, and 4-14 at No. 5. In doubles, Sjokvist is a combined 3-34.

2005-06: Played the majority of her second season in WCU's No. 2 slot, compiling a 3-17 overall record ... Lost one match as the No. 4 player ... For the second-straight year, played with two different partners in doubles, posting a 1-19 record with Holly Stocks as the No. 2, and a 0-1 mark with Trish Hanson as the No. 1.

2004-05: Compiled a 4-14 record as Western's No. 4 player as a freshman ... Posted a 2-13 record in doubles play with April Yount, also dropping one match as the No. 2 doubles with Ashley Harris.

High School: Attended Soltorgsymnasiet High School in Borlange, Sweden where she played for head coach Olof Aspelin.
